The report from the Adrian Smith Inquiry is expected any day now.
A recent article posted on the Independent web site highlights the issues that the inquiry led by Adrian Smith has been tackling. The repeated delays to the publication of the report suggest that it has been hard to reach a consensus that would be widely accepted both within the world of maths education as well as in schools while being welcomed by parents, employers and politicians.
The report will be controversial judging by reactions to the expected recommendations quoted in the Independent article.
