These books were published by Collins Education. They are out of print, but are widely available in college libraries.

You can get the general idea of how the SPACE approach works in practice by studying any one of these teachers' guides. Only if you are after specific content do you need a specific title.

Each teachers’ guide consists of
• Summary of the SPACE approach, useful strategies, experimental and investigative science, and planning
• Finding out children’s ideas: starter activities
• Examples of children’s work showing their ideas
• Activities to help children to develop their ideas
• Assessment: examples of children’s work with notes on the level they have reached
