FREE A2 resources for A-level Applied Science

The A2 materials from 4Science for teaching AQA and OCR Applied Science are available free. This is because of generous sponsorship by the Wellcome Trust, Gatsby Science Enhancement Programme (SEP), and the Institute of Physics.

Applied Science in future
GCSE applied science is becoming increasingly popular. The number of students following an applied science pathway 14-19 looks set to rise dramatically in coming years.

Longer term the Nuffield Curriculum Centre aim is to improve the quality of applied science courses post-16, by working with QCA and awarding bodies and researching authentic workplace practice. We are currently involved in discussions about the nature and content of the Science Diploma, due to be launched in 2010.
