
Paul Bowers IsaacsonPaul, in a long teaching career in inner-city schools, held various posts including Head of Science and was lately responsible for broadening aspects of the sixth-form curriculum in a central London community school.
Paul's wider contribution to curriculum development began with
'Science at Work' and 'Nuffield Working With Science' in the 1970s. Most recently he has been involved in the development of AS Science for Public Understanding (SPU) and its successor AS/A2 Science in Society.
He also provides workshop-facilitation training within the voluntary sector and holds several senior examination board posts for subjects including SPU, General Studies and the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification. For more information, click here.
Paul works at the Curriculum Centre one day a week organising support events for students and teachers, and contributing to course development, in Science for Public Understanding and Science in Society.
