Nuffield Primary Design & Technology
A chance encounter with Ena de Long, an adjunct at Queen's University revealed the presence of a Facebook entry under the name Barlex. Ena told me that the Queen's Technology Education students of 2007 had, completely unbeknownst to me, posted a Facebook website called The Barlex Association! I was flabbergasted. It turns out that my colleague Malcolm Welch has given the Nuffield materials, the Nuffield websites high profile on the courses he teaches as well as using the papers he and I have written as essential reading. There are 15 members of the group and they use the site to share stories, job leads and much more. Well I never!
